
So for the past 3 days my roommate Dang and I have been on this diet. I wouldn’t call it much of a diet as much as an experiment on myself.
The deal is that you cannot have any solid food for a minimum of 10 days. You are only allowed to drink tea, water, and this lemonade mixture of lemon juice, maple syrup, and Cayenne pepper.
The diet is very interesting. There are some points where I feel crappy, and then there are some points where I feel alright. The first two days I was hungry. Now I’m not so much hungry, but more craving food; as in I’ve been in the habit of eating for so long that it just feels like I should be eating something. Lunch time will come around and I’d think about what I’m going to eat for lunch, then I’d remember I can’t eat. It’s a very strange feeling.
People seem to have interesting reactions to me telling them that I’m on this diet. But more on that tomorrow.
