How can you include a hand grenade sequence, and think it sufficient to simply dish up some poorly chosen low quality audio of an explosion. How hard is it to zoom in tight on the hunted actor, and shovel dirt/debris/leaves across the face of the camera lens. I also would’ve immediately followed the concussion with a high pitched ringing noise to carry some extra weight audio-wise for the believability of the explosion. But in this case, nothing visual to carry the viewer, only a very cheap, paper-thin sound of an explosion happening off-camera. Not even a strong camera shake. The camera shakes like crazy when nothing is happening, but when the grenade goes off, the camera does nothing. How odd.
